Santoni is a popular café renowned for its inviting ambience, exceptional service, and thoughtfully curated menu. We pride ourselves on delivering memorable dining experiences and are looking for a Cook who shares our commitment to excellence.
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have:
A Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or higher)
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar cooking role
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and season a variety of dishes including soups, entrees, and main courses
Follow and develop recipes that align with our menu and brand
Garnish and present food in an appealing and efficient manner
Estimate food and ingredient requirements to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Manage proper storage of raw materials such as vegetables, meats, spices, and dry goods
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and legal standards at all times

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A flexible attitude and willingness to work weekends and varying shifts
Reliability and a professional approach to punctuality and attendance
Self-motivation with the ability to work independently when needed
A collaborative spirit to contribute positively to our team culture
High energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to consistency and quality
What We Offer:
A full-time position with a minimum 2-year contract (extendable)
Competitive annual salary of $70,000 – $ 75,000 (based on skills and experience)
Superannuation contributions in line with legal requirements
